Music Review: Lagwagon Let's Talk About Leftovers

Published: Thursday, September 19, 2002

Lagwagon is undeniably one of the most persevering and consistently kick-posterior punk bands to surface in the 90s. The band has compiled more than 20 tracks of catchy, emotional, funny and inspired songs for their re-issue of Let's Talk About Leftovers.

The album was originally released a couple years ago on lead singer Joey Cape's independent label, My Records.

This hard-to-find LP has outtakes from all other Lagwagon albums, compilation tracks, rare cover songs — great renditions of songs by Devo, and Jawbreaker, and even "Bring on the Dancing Horses" by Echo and the Bunnymen — and some vinyl releases.

Let's Talk About Leftovers is a must own for any fan of Lagwagon, or Joey Cape's side projects, Bad Astronaut and Me First and the Gimme Gimmes.
